Individual Therapy

I provide individual therapy to adults.

Length of Therapy Sessions

The length oftherapy sessions are 53 minutes via tele-health (phone call or video call).

Frequency of Therapy Sessions

The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on the client’s level of care, which includes therapy sessions being once a week, twice a month, or once a month. I schedule therapy sessions on the same day and time, for example every Monday at 9:00AM or every other Monday at 9:00AM. Once you decide what day and time works best with your schedule, that day and time will be reserved for you.

Rates

The rate of a therapy session is $200.00. In addition to regular sessions, I will be charging the therapy rate on a pro-rated basis for other professional services required. Other services may include letter writing, telephone conversations lasting longer than 15 minutes, attendance at meetings or consultations with other professionals which have been authorized, preparation of records, and time spent performing any other professional service.

If you are a client who is able to pay the full rate, you will be providing an opportunity for me to offer a spot to clients who is needing a sliding scale rate.

Sliding Scale Rates

I hold a few spots for clients who need sliding scale rates and one spot for a pro-bono client. Offering sliding scale rates and a pro bono spot is important to me because I believe that therapy should be accessible to individuals, regardless of financial circumstances. I want to make sure that cost is not a barrier to getting support and having a safe space to process, heal, and grow. If you’re interested in a sliding scale rate, we can talk about it during the phone consultation or your first session.

In addition, I work with Open Path Collective and provide a few spots to BIPOC individuals who need sliding scale rates at $70 per session. Please visit my profile at https://openpathcollective.org/clinicians/linda-nguyen/ to see if I am accepting new clients.

Note: *Sliding scale spots and pro bono spot are currently full*

Payments

I accept all major credit cards, and debit cards, including Flex Spending and HSA cards. Payments are made through HIPAA-compliant practice software at the end of each session.

Insurance / Superbills / Out of Pocket

I am in-network with:

  • Providence Health Plan

  • United Healthcare/UMR/Optum

  • Aetna

  • Pacific Source

  • Cigna/Evernorth

  • First Choice Health (Includes Kaiser Added Choice, PPO Plus, and Dual Choice PPO),

  • Moda Health (effective 10/01/26).

I am not an in-network with other insurance companies. But I am an out-of-network provider with insurance companies. At the end of each month, I am able to provide you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you’d like to utilize your out-of-network benefits, it is your responsibility to understand what your out-of-network benefits are.

Here are some example questions of what to ask your insurance company:

  • Do you reimburse for out-of-network mental health providers? If so, what are my out of network benefits?

  • What is my yearly deductible and how much of it have I met?

  • What is the process for submitting superbills for reimbursement?

  • Do I or my therapist need to complete an authorization form for mental health services?

  • How many sessions do you cover per year?

  • How do I submit a superbill?

Note: If you are interested in providing superbills to your insurance company for reimbursement, the rate of therapy sessions is at $200.00 instead of sliding scale rates.
