Individual Therapy
I provide individual therapy to adults.
Length of Therapy Sessions
The length of therapy sessions are 53 minutes via tele-health (phone call or video call).
Frequency of Therapy Sessions
The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on the client’s level of care, which includes therapy sessions being once a week, twice a month, or once a month. I schedule therapy sessions on the same day and time, for example every Monday at 9:00AM or every other Monday at 9:00AM. Once you decide what day and time works best with your schedule, that day and time will be reserved for you.
Rates
The rate of a therapy session is $200.00. In addition to regular sessions, I will be charging the therapy rate on a pro-rated basis for other professional services required. Other services may include letter writing, telephone conversations lasting longer than 15 minutes, attendance at meetings or consultations with other professionals which have been authorized, preparation of records, and time spent performing any other professional service.
If you are a client who is able to pay the full rate, you will be providing an opportunity for me to offer a spot to clients who is needing a sliding scale rate.
Sliding Scale Rates
I hold a few spots for clients who need sliding scale rates and one spot for a pro-bono client. Offering sliding scale rates and a pro bono spot is important to me because I believe that therapy should be accessible to individuals, regardless of financial circumstances. I want to make sure that cost is not a barrier to getting support and having a safe space to process, heal, and grow. If you’re interested in a sliding scale rate, we can talk about it during the phone consultation or your first session.
In addition, I work with Open Path Collective and provide a few spots to BIPOC individuals who need sliding scale rates at $70 per session. Please visit my profile at https://openpathcollective.org/clinicians/linda-nguyen/ to see if I am accepting new clients.
Note: *Sliding scale spots and pro bono spot are currently full*
Payments
I accept all major credit cards, and debit cards, including Flex Spending and HSA cards. Payments are made through HIPAA-compliant practice software at the end of each session.
Insurance / Superbills / Out of Pocket
I am in-network with Providence Health Plan, Aetna, Pacific Source (effective date 02/01/2026), and First Choice Health (Includes Kaiser Added Choice, PPO Plus, and Dual Choice PPO).
I am not an in-network with other insurance companies. But I am an out-of-network provider with insurance companies. At the end of each month, I am able to provide you a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you’d like to utilize your out-of-network benefits, it is your responsibility to understand what your out-of-network benefits are.
Here are some example questions of what to ask your insurance company:
Do you reimburse for out-of-network mental health providers? If so, what are my out of network benefits?
What is my yearly deductible and how much of it have I met?
What is the process for submitting superbills for reimbursement?
Do I or my therapist need to complete an authorization form for mental health services?
How many sessions do you cover per year?
How do I submit a superbill?
Note: If you are interested in providing superbills to your insurance company for reimbursement, the rate of therapy sessions is at $200.00 instead of sliding scale rates.
FAQs

Telehealth allows me to meet with clients through secure video sessions from the comfort of their home. All clients need is a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.
I provide telehealth sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform, which means your personal health information and everything you share in session is protected and encrypted.
Before a scheduled session, clients receive a link to join. They simply click the link at their appointment time, and they will be connected with me for their session.
-
At this time, I provide telehealth sessions only and do not offer in-person appointments. Meeting virtually allows for increased flexibility, accessibility, and comfort while still providing effective, trauma-informed therapeutic support.
-
For new clients, they can reach out to me through my new client contact form. Once the request is received, I’ll follow up with next steps and confirm the session day and time. I’ll also send them the necessary intake forms to complete before the first meeting.
For current clients, they can request an appointment through the client portal. -
Each insurance company has its own policies around accepting new providers, reimbursement rates, and network requirements. Some plans may not be accepting new clinicians, may offer rates that don’t support the sustainability of a small practice, or may have restrictions that limit the kind of care I can provide.
For these reasons, I’m only in-network with insurance panels that align with my practice values and allow me to offer high-quality, consistent care. If I’m not in-network with your insurance, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits, and I’m happy to provide a superbill for potential reimbursement.

Yes. Clients are always welcome to pay privately instead of using their insurance. Some clients prefer this option for increased privacy, more control over their mental health records, or greater flexibility in their treatment. If a client chooses to opt out, I will not bill your insurance, they will have to fill out an opt out form, and they will be responsible for the full session fee at the time of service.

For clients experiencing a crisis, I can possibly offer an additional appointment if my schedule allows. However, I cannot provide crisis, emergency, or on-call services.
If clients are needing additional care to better support them, I can offer a list of resources and services within the community.
